42ft 1962 Matthews 42 Double Cabin

Classic 1962 Matthews 42 Double Cabin motoryacht named ANDIAMO, custom-built with the largest GM 6V53 diesel engines available at the time (185 hp each). Originally delivered to Alden Sypher of Washington DC in 1962, this mahogany vessel has been meticulously maintained and is currently in impeccable condition.

The yacht features a spacious two-cabin layout with impressive natural light throughout. The main saloon flows forward to the VIP cabin, with large windows and custom blinds along both sides. Original teak and holly cabin soles gleam throughout, complemented by hand-crafted mahogany tongue-and-groove overheads and rich mahogany trim.

Accommodations include a forward guest cabin with V-berth, wash basin, and shared head with shower; and a spacious owner's en-suite with two berths separated by a mahogany dresser, private head with large separate shower stall, and upgraded Electrosan toilet system. The galley is well-equipped with full refrigerator/freezer, double stainless steel sinks, and abundant storage.
