Description
PATIENCE is a 27-foot M27 custom runabout built by Moores Yachts in 2023, representing 60 years of design vision by James Moores. The cold molded composite hull combines classical styling inspired by pre-war yacht designers (Wells, Herreshoff) and WWI battleships with modern high-tech marine engineering by B&B Yacht Design.
Powered by a 200 hp Volvo Penta TAMD41A diesel engine with only 50 hours of operation, she achieves cruising speeds of 25 knots and maximum speeds exceeding 35 mph. The refined hull enables tight 180-degree turns in half her waterline length, delivering sports car-like handling performance.
Construction features include cold molded composite hull, composite deck, hand-selected teak caprails and cockpit decking, custom AwlGrip paint, and 316 stainless steel rubrail. Custom hydraulic steering, bow thruster with joystick, and Garmin Echo Map Plus 44CV G3 chartplotter provide modern conveniences. The vessel is equipped with full safety equipment, custom high-end upholstery, and heavy duty engine compartment sound insulation.
